We finished our interview, which was amazing, Mrs. S was very impressed. Then we went and fulfilled our childhood dreams by going to play with the previously made ROV's in the mini pool. After we had a feeling of what they worked like, we went to take pictures of each challenge for our blog and then did a mini group photo shoot. We will start on our box next period and hopefully start sketching how we want our robot to look like. Im super excited because EQUIPMENT MANAGER finally gets to work!(me)

welcome back to the inner workings of this project, today I partnered up with andy from another team to learn about circuits. We soldered the switch and the lights and the resistors, but did not manage to finish the attaching of the wires. Forming the shape of the soldering was difficult, because we were supposed to get a shape similar to a Hershey's kiss, but ended up with a pear looking shape. Next class, we will finally finish the circuit and see its it works, and if Mrs. S approves, then we will go our separate ways (bye andy ;( )and make our own control box.

The day has come. We finally finished the practice circuit and it works like a boss! Although we did finish it, it took the whole period for us to do so, and so I only got to work on my control box at the end of the period. It took us longer than we expected because the soldering iron kept melting the wire to the soldering iron and not the actual circuit. (We were both also very sick) However, I feel fully prepared for making it and I have confidence that it will work out great.

Today I finally started soldering on our circuit board, and I attached the resistors, the LED lights, the compacitors, the diode, and the inductor. I also started on the PCB. Getting the perfect hershey kiss's shape was difficult and it was hard to hold the different components together while I soldered. Next time I will finish up the circuit board, and I will work on wiring the control box.
