TEAM BLOG

May 5th, 2017
After successfully finishing our interview with Mrs. S, we had the chance to manipulate a ROV that was already made, giving us a sense of what it was like and how they were framed. We finished up our guidelines pages by adding some pictures we took, and next time, we will receive our box and officially start our ROV!!

Finished product!
Today we split into three teams and each starting working on our own task. The control and motor building groups mainly worked on the practice activities which were stripping wires and soldering, and the frame building worked on the design of the frames. Most of us finished soldering our practice wires and are ready to waterproof them.

The motor building team completed their practice activity, and moved on to attaching the propellers to the motor. The control box building team helped people out with soldering, and then started on their practice circuit. Lastly, our frame builder and designer recorded the measurements for the frame she had considered making last time, and also created a mini sketch of what it will look like.

Cindy worked on coming up with ideas of the frame and measuring out her ideas. Beth finished her practice circuit and then started on the control box.
